PEC started working officially after Governor of Punjab’s approval because its conception was deemed important. Pakistan education commission (PEC) is an independent commission of province of Punjab. All matters concerning 8th class and 5th class annual examination are handled by this commission. PEC is improving and enhancing the standards of 5th and 8th class education and their board examinations. It is PEC’s job to register all the students, produce and issue their roll number slips, supervise examination, preparing the result and issuing the report for policy analysis. PEC looks after 36 districts of province of Punjab.
