Pakistan primary , secondary and higher education boards those power the educations in pakistan, have great and significant importance. No doubt all edu boards put their efforts to increase literacy rate in country and spread educational after 1947. After the birth of pakistan the all educational institutes trying to give their best to teach peoples by establishing campuses, little schools and others way that possible. After that government have start working on establishment of educational boards in each provinces.

Government of  pakistan have established many educational boards in four provinces like in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as in districts in each province. Like in punjab province each district have a boards that control the different tehsil level schools (government & private) examinations. Each board have responsible to register volunteer students to give exams, issue the date sheets, announce the result and many others.

These educational boards have take the exams of 5th, 8th classes, matriculation and intermediate. After that graduation, masters and PhD level education are managed by colleges and universities.  are working to manage education at graduation, masters and PhD level.

As we have discuss above each province has its own educational boards and all of working under appropriate governmental authorities. Once responsibility of each board is conducting the examination of primary, matriculation and intermediate classes.

Federal Board of Education

• Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad

First we talk about fedral board in Islamabad of Intermediate and Secondary Education, (وفاقی بورڈ برائے متوسط و ثانوی تعلیم، اسلام آباد‎) have well repudiated due to high standards of education internationally. FBISE is the federally statutory body develop and control intermediate and secondary education both in Pakistan and abroad as well.

Punjab the main province of pakistan having large numbers of students established nine(9) boards of education till now in working state. Lahore board is big one and lakhs of students register under lahore board. Other boards including Dera Ghazi Khan Board, Federal Board, Gujranwala Board, Rawalpindi Board, Multan Board, Faisalabad Board, Bahawalpur Board and Sargodha Board. Punjab Technical Education authority is responsible for Technical Education in pakistan.

Similarly in sindh have own six(6) edu boards in which in Mirpurkhas Board, Hyderabad Board, Larkana Board, Sukkur Board, Aga Khan Board and Karachi Board. Sindh technical education is responsibility of Sindh Board of Technical Education.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa know as KPK has 8 education boards in working states including swat board, Peshawar Board, Kohat Board, Abbottabad Board, Malakand Board, Mardan Board, Dera Ismail Khan Board & Bannu Board. For technical education NWFP Board of Technical Education Board is controlling and responsible.

In Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Azad Jammu & Kashmir Board is responsible for board examinations at matric and intermediate level.
